I have browsed the wonders of the internet to bring you these delightful New Moon film related photos. Let us commence the viewing.
This image is a still from New Moon and clearly shows Bella and Jacob having a deep conversation on some stairs. Looks like they're in a public building, since neither of them would have stairs like this in their homes. Jacob has not yet discovered his wolfy powers, since he cuts his hair when he does and here he is exhibiting long flowing raven locks, and Bella looks a bit sad, as she does in New Moon a lot.
Here we have a happier Bella with her beloved bloodsucking fiend/heartthrob Edward. They look like they're having a private moment, so perhaps we shouldn't be ogling them. This one could be either an early picture or a later one, but most certainly not a middle one because Edward runs off for a while there.
How many films will there be now?
So recently one of the new Eclipse cast members, Boo Boo Stewart, had a interview in which he stated that after New Moon, "There should be 'Eclipse,' 'Breaking Dawn' and one more, maybe."'
Oh? One more?
Access Hollywood is assuming this to mean that Summit Entertainment is going to pull a 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' on us with Breaking Dawn, meaning they would split it into two films to fit everything from the book onto film.*
It could also mean that Stephenie Meyer is writing some other Twilight project. Perhaps she's going to pick up Midnight Sun again?
She has given no indication of doing so on her website, but there is always time for her to change her mind. Stewart did use the elusive "maybe," after all.
It could also mean that filmmakers are going to go off and do something else with or without Stephenie having written anything. Who knows, maybe the story of Renesmee?

Bryce Dallas Howard replacing Rachelle Lefevre as Victoria
It was recently revealed that Rachelle Lefevre, who played the notorious vampire Victoria in Twilight, will be replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard in the third film in the franchise, Eclipse. This comes as a surprise to many, possibly including Lefevre herself. She did choose to take a role in another film, independent movie Barney's Version, and according to producers, failed to alert them in advance that she would be in this other film. Apparently it means she will not be able to take part in pertinent rehearsal and photography time for Eclipse, and thus was eliminated from the cast and swiftly replaced. However, Lefevre has decided that the most logical response to her replacement would be to take legal action for breach of contract. In other words, she wants them to pay her for Eclipse anyway. The producers and other bigwigs in the Twilight film franchise believe that she is not owed anything because she should not have taken any other (albeit less major) roles while working on the Twilight films, though Lefevre of course disagrees. Some sources do assert that pataking in other roles was allowed in her contract, but there is contention on this matter.
