More to be Seen of Jacob Black
For those of you waiting expectantly for scenic views of Jacob Black in the new trailer being released tomorrow, I have decided to give you a teaser.
If you look to your right, you will see a picture of Taylor Lautner from the film, and he is most certainly not wearing a shirt.
Readers of the book know that Jacob Black goes around with little covering his body in this segment of the story due to the fact that shapeshifting tends to destroy his clothing.
It would appear that filmmakers have decided to stay true to the book in this regard, and are fulfilling the promise of shapeshifting Native American boys in various states of undress. As far as we know, this is the sort of thing Stephenie Meyer could only imagine.
It is also true that tomorrow not only holds the temptation of a new trailer, but it also holds the promise of an issue of Entertainment Weekly which features Bella and Jacob front and center. Not only will they be on the cover, but there will be even more glamour shots and information about the film inside the magazine as well.
Robert Pattinson, who is well known to be portraying Edward Cullen, has not offered up any confessions of feeling left out that we know of. He can still hope, however, that he will not lose all his fans to Lautner due to the sans-clothing fiascoes after the film is released, since he will feature more heavily in the latter part of them film, in which he will be sacrificing himself in Italy.
This is significant because many girls love the idea of men sacrificing themselves for the sake of love in Italy. Such a romantic gesture will surely bring young women back to Edward despite the semi-nudity of Jacob.
Both Edward's romantic gestures and Jacob's semi-nudity are likely to continue in the third film.
