New Moon Social Space

I decided to check out Nordstrom's famed New Moon line.

I have to say I was a bit disappointed.

Most of their collection consists of flimsy T-Shirts with sayings like 'Team Jacob,' 'Team Edward,' 'You can't read my mind,' and so on.  There are also some with tree and wolf designs on them.  The T Shirts run about $30.00 each, but they are very soft, so if you don't mind flimsy, you might like them.  Probably better for a summer day or layering.

Interspersed with the official wear, they had some jeans that look like Bella would wear and a few shirts that Bella would wear.  Thses are not part of the official collection, but overall the quality was good.  The jeans ran about $30.00- $50.00, while most of the shirts were about $35.00.  The shirts were mainly button down collarded shirts, so the $35.00 wasn't really a bad price, especially for Nordstrom.  I almost bought one, and then didn't because I was being frugal and all.

I attempted to find the Twilight Beauty line.  Now, it could be that this particular Nordstrom was not stocked or organized well, but all I could find was the venom.  I browsed the makeup department, searching frantically for some Luna Twilight pallettes or gloss or something, but it was to no avail.  The venom was stuck in a little bucket with some other brand of makeup, and so was not an obvious marketing move on their part.  The employess in ther makeup department paid me no mind at all and were no help.  I was disappointed not only in the lack of Twilight organization, but the lack of assistance.  One would think that a store like Nordstrom, such an upstanding and posh atmosphere, would have knowledgable and posh salespeople who know everything and are always willing to help. But I didn't come across any of those.
