New Moon Released! Making Lots of Money!
The New Moon release topped $20,000,000 opening night!
Fans everywhere are squealing!
Critics everywhere either like it or don't!
And so on!
I have browsed reviews of the film, and have found that female reviewers and fans of the novels liked the film better than guys and people who hated the first film.
No surprise there.
There have been some calls for 'more action! Look at all those werewolves and vampires! We need more action!'
And some complaints of things being drawn out just a bit . . .too . . . much . . .
Many people feel that Jacob Black is a great character! Surely girls everywhere will turn from Team Edward to Team Jacob based on this film!*
Other people feel that it is not good that Edward is largely absent, while many say this is good, because Jacob is a better actor, better character, wears a shirt less, more attractive, etc, etc.
Some people are saying that the loyalty to the novel is definitely a plus for fans, but some people don't like that because they didn't like the novel.**
Kristen Stewart wants you to f*** off and Robert Pattinson is a drunken slob
So I was reading the exciting articles on the Twilight Team in Entertainment Weekly, and the one on Robert Pattinson in Vanity Fair, which was a very long article, and I discovered that Kristen Stewart really hates it when people ask her about her personal life, and said that if anyone asked if she were into Taylor Lautner she'd be all "F*** off!" This is something I find easy to believe. The article did say it was uncensored, but as we all know, you have censor some of Kristen's profanity because she's a potty mouth.

Pattinson, on the other hand, does not seem to know what to do with his status as a 13 year old girl's dream man, and sticks to his filthy hotel room and gets drunk. He also has found that he oftentimes cannot order room service because his room is that dirty. He even admits to it!
Interestingly enough, Robert Pattinson was chosen for the role based on his face. He looks 'old-fashioned' or some such nonsense and American actors apparently look too modern.* So they scoped out a British actor and went with him because he and Kristen seemed to get along pretty well.
Twilight Cast Tour Coming to . . . me?
Next month, some very exciting things are happening in cities across the nation.
And yes, these things will be Twilight related.
In fact, a Twilight Saga: New Moon Cast Tour has been announced.
This means people around the United States can go to see performances by Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina, Sea Wolf, and Band of Skulls, and there will even be cast members* there for question and answer sessions! You can also participate in activities and will have chances to win things.**

This image is a still from New Moon and clearly shows Bella and Jacob having a deep conversation on some stairs. Looks like they're in a public building, since neither of them would have stairs like this in their homes. Jacob has not yet discovered his wolfy powers, since he cuts his hair when he does and here he is exhibiting long flowing raven locks, and Bella looks a bit sad, as she does in New Moon a lot.
Here we have a happier Bella with her beloved bloodsucking fiend/heartthrob Edward. They look like they're having a private moment, so perhaps we shouldn't be ogling them. This one could be either an early picture or a later one, but most certainly not a middle one because Edward runs off for a while there.
Breaking News: New Moon Soundtrack to be released early
Amazingly enough, the New Moon soundtrack is going to be released early.As in, you can buy it on Friday (October 16th)!
And it's because everyone wants it!
Yes, demand has influenced the producers and they are giving fans a treat by releasing it more than a month before the film is released!
Now, if only they released the film early due to demand . . . but don't hold your breath.*
In other news, Robert Pattinson can't get a date because girls just want to date Edward Cullen and not Robert Pattinson.**

New Moon Official Companion Released Today
The most exciting news of the day is that The Twilight Saga: New Moon Official Illustrated Movie Companion has been released.
This means you can go to a bookstore and buy it!*
The exciting part is the multitude of stills from the movie, behind-the-scenes info, and set footage.
Libraries across the country are putting it out for people to read without buying it, but if you go this route you won't be able to look at the pitures for more than a few weeks, or however long the library allows you to keep it.
Remember, this chapter of the Twilight Saga is very exciting and even has typical guy appeal in that there is action out the wazoo. As Taylor Lautner said, and this is a direct quote, "There's a lot more action than Twilight. It's more exciting — it has werewolves and vampires, which creates fights because they don't get along. Not only does the action step up, but the whole story line does as well. Now there's a third person involved."
How's about a tide-ye-o'er?
Did you know there is another teen vampire film coming out soon?Yup, this month Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant is being released. This one, while the books do have excellent ratings on Amazon, and a positive review from the Illustrious J. K. Rowling, is not nearly as romantic as Twilight. However, it does feature a cute teenage actor, and vampire action. This would be a good one to see with Your Boyfriend. Your Boyfriend probably likes action, and vampires are always a popular subject.
Amazingly enough, this film is being directed by Chris Weitz's (you know, that guy who is directing New Moon) brother Paul. Therefore, you know that this could be a good thing, since they're related and all.
New Moon Posters
Amazing things are happening! There are three new New Moon posters! Lookit!
To the left is the main one, with Bella and the Cullens, all of them doing that thing where they look pretty. Jasper in the corner is looking especially 'sexy vampire'-ish with his devil-may-care glare and casually tousled hair.
Right above is the wolf pack poster, in which all the buff Native American teenage boys stand around with their biceps and tattoos and general badassery.
